
SMAA has received the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) Adult Career Pathway (ACP) grant for International Medical Graduates. The project has helped SMAA members specially Internationally trained professionals to prepare for licensing exams like USMLE (United States Medical Licensing Exam). With this grant SMAA supported over 66 members and helped place participants into residency program of their choice. It is worth mentioning that SMAA has a 24-hr. library that helps members preparing for the board examination to have complete focus.
